Mark has been my dentist since starting the practice at Lismore House. His byword is “Pain free dental treatment” and that is exactly what he delivers. I would highly recommend him and his staff…top class service.

Seeing Jayne for a hygiene appointment was a really pleasant experience. Jayne was working with dental nurse Claire and both were very welcoming, putting me at ease straight away. It had been a long time since I had my teeth cleaned by a hygienist and I was a bit apprehensive having experienced discomfort in the past. Jayne and Claire were so lovely and the whole experience was very gentle, I will have no apprehension about visiting for hygiene appointments in the future. Thank you both!

Jayne and her colleague were very friendly. Throughout the cleaning process Jayne was very considerate and made sure I was ok and asked if I needed breaks. Jayne and her colleague were very efficient and I experienced no discomfort throughout.

I had a recent chat with Sarah at Lismore House dentist with a view to having dental implants to replace existing crowns etc. She was and is extremely engaging with a zest and enthusiasm for her patients and the treatment options and costs involved. She is an asset to the practise as are the staff in reception.... overall a good experience.

After a traumatic experience with my old dentist, my online research took my Lismore house, and the promise of pain-free dental work sounded too good to be true.A pleasant assessment followed by a detailed and well explained plan moving forward.A few months later , with work well underway I am thrilled with the service at Lismore House and my dental anxiety and fear has well and truly gone.Climbing into the chair, having conversations with what feels like a friend of many years in reality I'm a customer of mear weeks for Mark Fortune!It all adds to the friendly and comfortable experience overall.5 stars dosnt seem like enough praise for the entire team.I highly recommend Lismore House to anyone with dental anxiety or fears.The team at Lismore House proves there are good and bad people in dentistry, and I'm happy to say I found the good ones !It's why I'm happy to drive an hour each way to visit my dentist.

My family and I have been with Lismore Dental for a few years and I have been amazed with the wonderful team, who are always super friendly and caring.I used to dislike the appearance of my teeth, but ever since opting for four crowns for cosmetic reasons, I regularly receive compliments for my nice teeth now! Mark made them look much better than I had ever expected.Also, my two daughters love going to the dentist. They especially appreciate the kids‘ corner in the waiting room.I can highly recommend Lismore Dental!

I've been going to this practice for more years than I would like to remember.I live on Co Durham, but stayed with this practice when I moved here, 22 years ago; as I was not happy with the service offered in my local area. Fantastic service. I was terrified about having a tooth extracted but I needn’t have worried. Mr Fortune couldn’t have done anything more to make the process as easy as it was. Friendly staff, calm atmosphere, very modern up-to-date practise. Gel on the gum first, absolutely did not feel any pain. I was very nervous but Matt was very patient. Overall a great experience.

Thanks to Lismore House Dental for my pain free dental treatment today. A check up and then a filling by Matt and hygiene appointment with Jackie. Filling perfect and so easy and pain free, and lovely clean teeth after my hygiene session. Plus great assistance from the nurses and reception.Overall great service from all in the team 👍

I had a impacted wisdom tooth removed by Matt, he was absolutely brilliant. The procedure itself was pain free, I was fully appraised on the process and I felt completely assured and calm. The care provided was fantastic, both during the procedure and with my follow-up care. Thank you again Matt!

Excellent service from Mark (dentist), Jackie (hygienist)and the dental nurses as usual. They are very thorough and really take the time to discuss dental hygiene and any issues raised by them or me. The receptionists were helpful but I missed Kay.I would definitely recommend Lismore if you're looking for a dental Practice. You will be looked after by a professional team who will keep your teeth and gums in tip-top condition.

If you are looking for a dentist this is the place!I found myself without a dentist which was a first in my life time .I had massive problems with my teeth and in alot of pain.Mark, Rebecca & Mary were amazing! Very kind and helpful staff. Receptionists are lovely and welcoming. My dentist talked me through everything and the procedures I need done and gave me a breakdown of where to start.Just had my first hygienist appointment here and the lady was so friendly, knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable.

Not having been to a dentist for about 7 years I joined Lismore House Dental Practice expecting to need fillings and at least one tooth extraction. I was absolutely delighted to be told by Matt I needed no fillings and the front tooth could be built up and made good. Wow he did not disappoint I’m over the moon with the work he has done and I would definitely recommend the practice. Everyone is very friendly from the receptionists to the dental nurses and of course the dentist himself. Thank you.

By far the best practice I’ve been to. Mark is fantastic with our young children and is incredibly patient, taking the time to make them feel comfortable and enjoy their visit. Always incredibly knowledgeable and approachable with any questions. The reception staff are also wonderful and make you feel so valued, whether via phone or in the practice! Highly recommend!

I’ve been really scared of going to the dentist as long as I can remember. I was quite anxious when Mr Foxton retired worrying about who would be taking over.I had nothing to worry about as Mark is really nice and has helped me a lot overcome been frightened.He has a good approach in carrying out dental treatment and our children are happy to go.The rest of the staff are all very friendly and welcoming on each visit.I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good Dentist.
